We specialize in Automotive Diagnostic Testing across Honda, GM, Volkswagen, BMW and a few Nissans. From Check engine Lights to CAN/LIN bus errors we use Root Cause Analysis: a systematic process used to identify the underlying reasons for a problem or failure, rather than simply addressing its symptoms. We focus on uncovering the foundational fault to prevent recurrence, ensuring effective long-term solutions.
We avoid the "parts cannon". The phrase "load the parts cannon" is often used humorously or critically in the automotive repair industry to describe the practice of replacing parts indiscriminately without a proper diagnosis, in hopes of fixing a problem. This approach is typically inefficient, costly, and not recommended as it focuses on guessing rather than finding the actual root cause of an issue.
Work History
Louis is an ASE Certified Master Technician, achieving status in 2009. His experice is as varied as his toolbox, demonstrating successes across multiple different makes and models. His first engine teardown was the family craftsman lawnmower in 1996 (13 years old) sending out a bent crankshaft for straightening and reassembling for continued use over the next 4 years.
